Sharon Morell is a past-president of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation. The Foundation was created in 1989 to promote and facilitate a culture of giving and to serve as a guardian of permanent funds available to safeguard the quality of Jewish communal life in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The OJCF works with individuals and families and also manages and administers funds on behalf of synagogues and other Jewish organizations throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Assets under management, as of December 31, 2016, exceeded $75M.
Ms. Morell is a member of the Foundation’s Executive and Investment Committees and serves on the advisory committee for the award-winning Oregon Jewish Community Youth Foundation.
Ms. Morell is a Client Portfolio Manager and Product Specialist for Morley Capital Management, a leading provider of Stable Value solutions within the retirement industry. Ms. Morell received her Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Methods from the University of Oregon and a Masters in Business Administration, Finance and Investments, from the University of California, Berkeley.
