Brett is head of tactical asset allocation for the Investment Strategy Group (ISG), where he oversees a global team that generates investment ideas across various asset classes—including fixed income, developed and emerging market equities, commodities and currencies—using a variety of fundamental, quantitative and technical tools. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 as a vice president in ISG and was named managing director in 2009.
Prior to joining the firm, Brett spent four years as a senior analyst at CMK Capital, a fundamental-based, long/short equity hedge fund. His previous work experience also includes private equity and strategy consulting.
Brett earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, where he graduated summa cum laude and as salutatorian.
